Student Visa For Ireland

Student Visa Eligibility

Ireland has its own set of policies when applying for the student visa and it is essential that you must visit the official website of Irish Naturalization and Immigration Services (INIS) for the up-to-date travel information.

When applying for the Visa? 

You should apply for the Irish study visa as early as possible. It normally takes 6-8 weeks or longer to process. Due to the high volume of application, we recommend applying 8 weeks prior to the course start date.

Visa Application Cost

Applicants are required to pay 100 Euros approx visa fees and additional charges for the submission of documents. The visa may be paid in local currency. 

English Language Requirements

When applying for a student visa for Ireland we need to prove English language ability. It depends on the course and study level.

Visa Documents 

  1. Printed and signed summary of Online Application Form 

  2. Biometric Appointment Confirmation 

  3. Visa Payment Confirmation

  4. Current passport and copies previous passport

  5. Letter of Acceptance 

  6. Evidence of your tuition fees in full or more than €6,500  

  7. English Language Certificate IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo/PTE (Any One)

  8. Statement of Purpose (Explain gap proof any and commitment to leave Ireland after the expiry of the visa)

  9. Brief CV (if student is working – letter from current employer or Experience certificate)

  10. Evidence that you or sponsors has sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living expenses in Ireland 

  11. Private medical insurance, that meets the requirements of your visa

  12. Certificate of all academic documents

  13. Recent color photographs (Two)

  14. Evidence of scholarship (if you have granted from government or employer)
