To become eligible for the scholarship, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. To be a citizen of the above-listed country

  2. Have a postgraduate level qualification (or equivalent professional training or experience in a relevant area) at the time of application.

  3. Must meet all program-specific fellowship eligibility requirements.

  4. The students will only be eligible to apply for a Chevening scholarship after 5 years of the completion of their first UK government-funded scholarship.

 

The documents required for the applications are:

  1. Student’s educational documents

  2. References

  3. One unconditional UK university offer. 

 

As chevening scholarships are fully funded and the award includes:

  1. University tuition fees

  2. Monthly stipend 

  3. Travel costs to and from the UK

  4. An arrival allowance

  5. The cost of one visa application

 

The applications are mainly open in September intake and get closed in November and sometimes early due to the seats being highly competitive. The scholarship is provided to the students applying for the major intake i.e. September. 

 

The eligible universities for this scholarship are:

  1. The University of Oxford

  2. Queen Mary University of London

  3. The University of Surrey

  4. The University of Nottingham etc.
